Maybe I can send them my tale when this clock finally expires, to see if they will give me a congratulatory free replacement. I don't even know if Spartus is still around. But I don't see any reason to replace the clock. The times it doesn't are through no fault of the device, those failures are all mine.I need to replace the 9V battery one of these days, been saying that for months now. It still keeps time just fine, still wakes me up (nearly) every time I need it to.

The plastic covering the 8-segment LEDs was cracked when I tried to crush it rather than wake up, and possibly from being tossed across the room on more than one occasion. The swanky options were the Battery Reserve and the Snooze.The woodesque plastic finish is in ok shape, certainty better than the brushed aluminumish panel around the control buttons. No clock, no second alarm, just set and go. Just labels for the buttons SNOOZER, HOUR, MINUTE, TIME SET, SET ALARM ON/OFF ALARM.

There's no serial number, model number, or anything now, if ever. It was $9.99, we crossed the river to NH, so, no sales tax.
